‘… given to hospitality’
Romans 12:13b
At Mount Barker Presbyterian Church, we believe in practicing both individual and collective hospitality, as taught in 1 Peter 4:9: “Use hospitality one to another without grudging.”
We hold firmly to the Scriptural imperative of Hebrews 13:2a, which commands us to “be not forgetful to entertain strangers”.
Furthermore, guided by Galatians 6:10, we are committed to the principle of doing “good unto all men” placing a special emphasis on extending our hospitality “unto them who are of the household of faith”.
In line with these teachings, we, as a church, wholeheartedly dedicate ourselves to demonstrating warm hospitality to both our brothers and sisters in Christ and those outside the faith.
